To be the Ancient girl means to live in a time that was intertwined with nature. This play serves as a reminder of how far we have distanced ourselves from the sun, moon, earth, plants, and animals. How far we have moved away from real connection and encounters with nature. In this performance, nature is an event, a character, a moment, beauty, a friend... Nature is not something to "preserve," but a part of us, sometimes to the extent that our beings are reflections of its state. However, even this modern society has its flaws. It has its rules that are subordinated to boys and men. But in that community lives a girl who has decided to change those rules. Nature is her greatest ally in this, because what she wants is inherently natural.
