The play “Don't Go Far” is the story of a family that could be any family that was affected by the war in some way, regardless of nationality, religion, race and the country in which it lives. The fate of somewhat real characters is narrated from the perspective of a boy who sees what others can’t. Peoples souls. This exact boy, with his maturity, empathy, and his worldview, provides us with an answer to the question: "What happens to those who close their souls?" and even more importantly: "How to reopen, love, and understand that soul again." The play "Don't Go Far Away" subtly and unobtrusively speaks about the impact of war on a once happy family.
