Giga creates the sea and gifts it to his friend Cricket for his birthday, so they can enjoy the sea together: floating, swimming, diving, fishing and, by an unspoken agreement, turning it into their sanctuary. A place where they can escape whenever the life happening around them becomes overwhelming, too harsh, painful, or simply incomprehensible.
