МАКЕ A WISH FOR THE 20th ZVEZDARIŠTE
Opening of the Children’s Art Competition Exhibition
Thursday,к, 14. мај у 11:00
Library-Gallery „Branko Miljković“
If we were to close our eyes and make the most beautiful wish for theatre — what would it look like?
This is exactly what our youngest participants did: they closed their eyes, sailed into the world of imagination, and transformed their wishes for Zvezdarište into colors, shapes, and playful images. The exhibition “Make a Wish for the 20th Zvezdarište!” brings us their sincere, imaginative, and joyful visions of the theatre and the festival they love — like the most colorful birthday gifts.
These group artworks, created by preschool children, were developed as part of an art competition initiated by the Festival Directorate, with the idea of inviting children not only to watch, but to actively co-create the festival’s magic. Through collaborative work, they shared their impressions, revived their memories of Zvezdarište, and expressed their ideas of what theatre can and should be.
At the opening ceremony, the authors of the most outstanding works will be awarded, while selected pieces will be specially prepared and presented to the theatres whose performances receive awards from the Children’s Jury.
The exhibition is also an invitation to experience Zvezdarište not only as spectators, but as co-creators
— just as children know best.
Duration: 1 hour
Age: for all ages
The exhibition is open until May 22.
