The festival begins colorfully and cheerfully on May 15, International Family Day, with the traditional Star Carnival in front of the Vuk Theater — a joyful celebration for the whole family.
The square will come alive with costumed preschoolers from the “Sunčica” kindergarten, filled with music, dance, circus performers from Inex Circus Theatre, as well as sports and dance instructors from the Activity sports school, joyful children and families...
The true star of the event will be singer-songwriter Zoe Kida (Ana Radonjić), born and raised in Zvezdara, mother of mother of two girls Istra and Lava, known for her unique original style and creativity, a former festival ambassador, and a forever “woman-child” — a generator of joy and positive energy. In a vibrant carnival atmosphere, together with the Actory Factory choir, she will perform her children’s song “Love Me” and the Zvezdarište festival anthem.
